Because we're 100% foster-based with limited spaces, we cannot accept every surrender request. We prioritize animals in immediate danger or whose owners have exhausted all other options. Most requests receive a response within 5–7 days.

What to include in your email
To help us respond quickly, please tell us:
- About you — your name, phone number, and city & state.
- About your pet — species, name, breed (or best guess), age, sex, and whether they're spayed/neutered.
- Your situation — why you're needing to surrender, and how urgent it is.
- Behavior & medical — any bite history, anxiety, medical conditions, or training level we should know about.
- Their environment — how they do with kids, other pets, and strangers.
Be honest — we don't judge. The more we know, the better we can help you and your pet.
